sichuan Travel Tips

DO NOT BE FOOLED by the common myth that Sichuan food is hot, hot, spicy-hot (la). Yes, it is but it's not so hot as to shy away from it.
THE MOST FAMOUS CHINESE DISH is from Sichian, Gongbao jiding or 公报鸡丁. It's basically diced chicken (ji ding) with chilli and peanuts. Delicious... hao chi 好吃！

How unfortunate for Sichuan to be located so closely to Yunnan. Nevertheless, Sichuan, whilst not being as cosmopolitan as Yunnan is a 'must-do' if you have the chance.
